It's the anniversary of Al's rise to heaven. i think of him and his wonderful family often. God bless a d keep us all. Carole

Just learned of Al's passing. He and I graduated from LHS in 1959 and remained in touch throughout the years. I have many fond memories of Al and will miss him greatly.

Had a great time in high school. Fond memories of you and your wonderful family. You are all missed and thought of often. My world was a better place for having known you.

Albert was very smart and very funny. When you were with him you laughed a lot. Take care Albert. Sincerely, Carlton Craft

Al Mayer worked under my supervision for eight years in San Francisco. When I
relocated to New England in 1987, I persuaded him to come east and continue
our professional relationship: He was the best data collection interviewer I've
ever known. We worked together until I retired in 2001. We remained friends,
often attending PawSox games in Pawtucket and Cape Cod League games in
Hyannis. He was a treasure-trove of baseball statistics. I miss him a lot.
