Not sure what to say?

Just saw a message from a customer named Maynard from Sandia Nat Lab. Reminded me again of Al. I do miss him and all my old friends. All gone now. Thank God I'm still A&K. RIP Al.

I have been thinking about you Al. I miss you and am very glad to have known you. Seems like all my old friends are gone now.

I still think of Al. Looks like I'm the only one. Sorry you are gone Al. You were a friend and fellow racer. Good Times.

I was just thinking about Al this morning. We ran the same F/G class but never ran aginst each other. Which I was glad about. I was sure that he would beat me. I really liked Al and talking to him at different Drag Meets. The last one was at Milan in 1971 when they qualified a 64 car field. I qualified #5 and Al was #3. Turned out to be a good day for me. I really miss not getting to talk with Al before he left. Lots to remember.

I still think of Al. The conversations we had, the ideas we shared. He's in my mind. I miss you Al. RIP.

I still think of Al. I remember waiting in the staging lines talking to Al about parts and racing in general. Then the call to our cars would come over the PA and off we went.

I raced with Al. Last time I talked with him was in 1971 at the 64 car meet at Milan Dragway. I qualified 5th and Al qualified 3rd. He was a great guy and we always traded tips on the best parts and tech. My car was a 55 chevy F Gas called the Red Dutchman.

To Al I will miss you very much your wisdom and kindness and just talking on the phone about parts and awsering all my questions thanks I will never forget u

Kathy and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. A larger than life character, I knew Al from Carlisle, Hershey and Meadowbrook. He afforded me an opportunity to show my car at a national level and I will forever remember his kindness and witt. Bill Clemens (Pennsylvania)
