Dear Jane and all,
India and the Church here owe so much to the generosity and kindliness of Greg. On mhy trips to Washington I would always phone him and visit. Those here who have profited from his care join me in prayers for him. Doubtless he needs them less than any of us.
I have remembee him in my Masses as soon as word reached me.

My deepest sympathies and prayers for you Jane, and to all the grieving members of your family. I had met with you and Judith Wise in Baltimore. I have heard so much from Fathers John Guidera, Frank McGauley, and George Hess about Greg and his concern for the poor in India through the projects that the Loyola Foundation supports. When I heard about Greg's failing health, I prayed everyday together with the 38 Seminarians under my care. I continue to pray that Greg may enjoy the peace with God. May God comfort you and your family.

Our deepest sympathy, warm hugs, and love to you, Jane and Denny--and to Greg, Ann, Karen, and all the family. Phil, the girls, and I have been praying and thinking of you in this difficult time. We remember Greg with such fondness: his unfailing gentle kindness and thoughtful attention when we'd see him at FADICA meetings, his enthusiasm in speaking about the family, the foundation's work, and his zeal for the church. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Lots of love, BA and Phil
