I remember Mr. Nellum not only as a fair, impartial, innovative and dedicated employer, but also as a kind, giving and caring individual.

I worked for A.L. Nellum & Associates back in the 1970s when it was located at 1025 Connecticut Ave, N.W. (yes a long time ago). The one thing I will always remember is when Al (referred to back then as Mr. Nellum) called me in the office because Olga was out at lunch and I was sitting at her desk, and asked me to get a phone number. Not having a pad of paper to write down the person's name (I did have a pen in hand), I just wrote the name etc. on my palm. I did complete the task, but...
