I met “Bert” many years ago. I believe he was in middle school. I cut his hair as well as his younger brother’s hair at Supercuts. I learned a lot of different hairstyles because he came in with a different plan for his haircut every time. LOL I would years later met his sweet wife Tonya and precious little girl Mary Evan not knowing that is his wife and child. SSG Nelson gave me the best piece of information while in the military. He said "Always bring a pen and some paper to a meeting with anyone bc you won´t remember everything no matter how hard you try." I spent 16 years in the Guard. He wasn´t my recruiter but i worked with him at the recruiters office on Sage. He was a funny guy that got down to business when it called for it. I´ll never forget him. Rest In Peace SSG Nelson.
