We miss you Al

I was a childhood friend of Al's in South Philly and in Boy Scout Troop 291 with him. I remember him as kind and easy-going. He also was a great student and had top marks in school. I am saddened by his passing, but impressed with the excellent career he had in journalism.

Uncle Albert and Aunt Mary, i am very sorry for your loss he will be missed. All my love to you.

I was saddened to learn of Al's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with Caroline and the family.

Saddened to learn of Al's passing. Over the years I always found Al to have a warm and welcoming personality. I considered him a great guy. May his family be strenghtened by the many thoughts and remembrances. david washburn

We Miss you!!! Love Lisa Walsh and Family

Tom Ridge summed Al up in a nutshell in Sunday's obit. Sympathy & kindest regards to Al's family & friends wherever they may be. We know Aaron Copeland wrote "Fanfare for the common man." Al was a very uncommon man, a uniquely special guy. He came, he saw, he conquered & left the world a better place than he found it. We miss him & will never forget. God bless one and all. Take care.
