Sympathy and words of friendship to the Newhart family. My father Elder Walter Haase pastored the Harrisburg church at the time Al Newhart was the head deacon. The present church was then under construction. On visits to my parents´ home I heard often of the friendship these two men shared and how faithfully the work of the church was cared for thanks to Al Newhart.
