Not sure what to say?

I worked at Prov. St Vincent for a few decades, and have fond memories of Dr. Oyama. He was brilliant, kind, and gentle, and we loved him for all those qualities. The kindness part really made him stand out.

Dear Masuko, this is a voice from the past, Beverly Hein Culp,I would love to re-connect with you! I'm so sorry for your loss! 503-292-2020

I had the pleasure of working at the St. Vincent Lab during Dr.Oyama's tenure. He was always available to answer questions--very open, friendly, and kind.

I will remember Dr. Oyama for both his kindness and his wisdom. I'm fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with him at St. Vincent.

Dr. Oyama was a wonderful physician and administrator. He truly looked out for everyone on his team and had such great wisdom in bringing people together for a common cause. I truly enjoyed every meeting I had with Dr. Oyama.

It was with great sadness I read about the death of Al. I took the obit from the Oregonian out to show David at the memory Care Center and he looked at the picture and said, "that's a good picture of Al". It was nice to know he still remembers him. David so enjoyed working with Al all those years at St. Vincent's Hospital.
We hold your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Dr Oyama always valued the technologists that worked with him in the laboratory. He expressed it often. He was respected and loved by everyone.

Dr. Oyama and my father practiced together at St. Vincent's for many years. There was no one my father respected more, as a friend or physician. Dr. and Mrs. Oyama were always favorite guests at our home. Your family should be immensely proud of Al, as a friend, physician and parent. Sincere condolences.

My sincere condolence to Dr. Oyama family.....Bob Davis ( Sambos )
