Not sure what to say?

He and my father (Lynn Chatelain of Marksville, LA) maintained a life-long friendship due to their service together during World War 2. My dad was severely wounded and Mr. Al saved his life w/an emergency blood transfusion in the Libyan desert prior to the famous Polesti Oil Raids that the 389th Bomb Group participated in during 1943. He came to visit us in the 1960's and deeply loved his wife Miss Chris. My Christmas Card to him was returned a few years ago and I lost contact. He was a...

Many tributes to former policeman Al Pede, who guided Jones School students
across Erie streets in the 1950's. Al
left a lasting impression on this former student and on many, many, many

Al was a close family friend who my family and I would meet regularly for Sunday brunch. Al would always have a card for each my brothers and I, and mine was always addressed "Princess." Remembered YMCA Handball player who always had a pleasant disposition

This world lost a great man but Heaven gained one of the best. He will be missed.

God Bless you Al and Chris

I liked Al. He was a credit to the neighborhood.

Al, Finally you are reunited with your beautiful bride Chris! And the ANGELS are rejoicing!
It was my pleasure to work with you at Marine Bank. It was an honor to visit you thru out the years, and to have been visited by you and Chris. It was very frustrating to loose contact with you a few years ago, when your Christmas card was returned! Regardless, it was a fun 40 year friendship, and I will miss...
