I offer my deepest condolences to the father, siblings, children, family and friends of Al Pherribo. As young teenagers Al and I taught swimming in Tracey Hall at Bishop McDevitt High School for three summers. Al was always a good worker, a gentleman and a joy to know. He was appreciated by all who taught at the Learn to Swim program. Considering it was approximately 56 years ago that we met at this swim program, that in itself shows Al´s good lasting impressions. I am deeply saddened to learn about the passing of "Little" Al. He was a great neighbor and honorary big brother to me during the 1960s. My condolences go out to his sisters and the rest of his family.

Pherribo family My name is Ed Kovach III and my dad and Al worked together at AMP on 4th street. I got to know Al from all the Bishop Mcdevitt Football games we attended over the years. Al is a great man. My dad passed away less than two weeks before your father passed. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Hopefully Al and my dad are catching up on old time.
