PORTER, Albert Sr. "A.P.," of Richmond, entered eternal life January 29, 2010. Left cherishing beautiful memories are a devoted wife of 36 years, Gloria Porter; three children, Dashelle, Joseph and Albert L. Porter Jr.; one grandchild, Tia Porter; mother, Eloise Porter; one sister, three brothers; mother-in-law, Violet Ervin; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Homegoing services will be held Friday, 1 p.m., at the Rising Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 2705 Hartman Street. Pastor Roscoe D. Cooper III officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. To know God is to have a personal relationship with him as my father did he had a personal talk with the lord and one day they decided to take a long walk together. I know we will see him again but know we must obey God's words.
