Not sure what to say?

It has been nearly two years since Albert went to be with our Lord. I had the pleasure and good fortune to have known & worked for him many years ago just after his appointment (Special Deputy Receiver). I overheard his name mentioned during a conversation today by someone I do not know but it made me think of him, his kindness and all the good work he performed during his career. He touched the lives of so many and I just felt that at this time of the year he should be thanked once again....

Sandy, I have belatedly learned of Albert's passing, and I am so so sorry that the Kansas City community will be so much poorer for this loss. My warmest sympathies to you and your children.

It is with deep regret that I learned of the passing of Al. Unfortunately I was out of town for his wake and funeral. Iknew Al professionally as the Deputy and Director of the city Human Relations Department and as a member of the Ad Hoc Group Against Crime. I along with many others know how good a human being he was.

There is a saying in Zen philosophy that to know the face of God you must know your face before your parents were born. I believe Al knows the face of God. It is for us...

This news ruined my day. My love and prayers to Sandy and the kids.

I was out of the country when Albert passed. I am so sorry for your loss. Albert was a great and charming man. My sympathies to the entire Riederer family.

So sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathy for your family.

When I was a stranger, Albert showed me warmth and generosity. I'm terribly sorry for your loss. He was a truly great man.

I worked with Albert at the Transit Casualty Receivership. He was a wonderful man to work for and to know. I believe that there is a special place in heaven for good people like Albert. My deepest condolences.

On behalf of the London family (neighbors on the next block), Peachy and I would like to express our sympathy to the entire family. Barbara, Lollie and Denise, we share fond memories and wish we could stay in touch. Your parents and whole family are exemplary. Kay (London) Goodnow and Allison (London) Smith.
