I was so saddened to hear about the passing of Mr. Rodig.
I enjoyed our times together and the history he was able to share.
He came from the "Great Generation".
My children enjoy the monogram scarves he crocheted for them which are safely stored to be handed down to the next generation.
I will always remember his humble, gentle, manner fondly.
He will be missed.

Mr. and Mrs. Rodig were the best Girl Scout leaders any girl could have. I learned so much from them. The camp outs were fun and educational because of them. They went above and beyond the call of duty. I wish I could have had the opportunity now as an adult to tell them "Thank You"! You made me a better person.

I just found out the passing of Mr. Rodig, or as our family called him Grandpa or Lolo Rodig. Him and the late Mrs. Rodig were like my grandparents after mine passed when I was young. They two of them are who I had left of such figures. I recently had the pleasure of speaking to Mr. Rodig and having him on video chat with the help of his grandson around Christmas time. What a wonderful human being! As a Girl Scout, the name Rodig is legendary. He end Helen were "Super Scouts" who cared about our organization and who proved it by volunteering with love. God bless Al.
