Albert William Schaefer

I first met Al in Tacoma in 1991 at an alternative cancer group as I took my young, age 30, sister-in-law who had been diagnosed with breast cancer. I always loved to get his take on nutrition and health. So sorry to have lost this good friend.

I first met Al in the early 90's at people curing aids in Seattle. I was hoping to talk to him for some inspiration as I am forming a group of my own here in Costa Rica.. So sorry that I was too late.. One of the first things that Al told me was that he wanted to become a centenarian.. damn! However, every moment that his heart was beating, was spent selflessly on the well-being of all. He never wasted a moment.. A life well spent.. Very much so.. Al I will miss you but you will always serve...

Al was a good friend and a great resource on a variety of health problems that plagued one of my children. I think he saved my son's life by introducing us to the benefits of magnesium. I just tried to called to talk with Al, as I often do, and his phone was disconnected. I am saddened to learn of his death. I learned so much from Al and always appreciated the way he called me "Patricia". My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
