Dear Cousin Albert, Jr. & Family:

Please accept my sympathy and condolences on the recent passing of your father. I just learned of it the other day. I'll always remember "Uncle Al" and your Mom, "Aunt Lee" as being very generous as they always remembered my birthday when I was growing up. It's too bad we lived so far apart and never got to know each other all these years. It was good to see you last year and I wish you and your families the best.
