Not sure what to say?

I like to get express my deep condolences to Debbie and the kids. I met Al at the University of Wisconsin he was my film instructor. We hit it off & would bike around Madison and the countryside. He spoke about having met you Debbie & plans to move to NY. I was looking in my old briefcase came across the post card he sent me, went to Google him & found he had passed away. We was really nice & caring person.

Forever in our hearts and in our music. We love you, Al.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Ab was a truly inspirational person who spread his love of life those around him. The Selvin family is in my thoughts.

Wanted to say again how very, very sad we are over the loss of your dear brother, Barbara. Loss is never easy, but when it is added to the shock of the sudden ... it is so much harder. But what a legacy he left.

Condolences on your sudden loss. Comfort, maybe, in imagining his happiness on that lovely day, doing what he loved..."he shall not grow old, as we who are left grow old...age shall not weary him, nor the years condemn..."

To all the Selvins - profoundly sorry for your loss. Al (or Ab as I fondly remember him) had such a gentle and wonderful spirit, and will always hold that special place in my heart reserved for younger brothers.

That wonderful afternoon after DIA Beacon. Friends forever.

We love you Al, forever you will be in our music and in our hearts.

Unconditional love, unwavering friendship, you taught us so much Al. Thank you for having been part of my life.

My condolences to your family and hoping that there is great music and excellent biking in heaven. - Love, Joel
