My son had Mr Sganga for Algebra II this past semester. Tanner benefited greatly from his personal tutoring and guidance. As his mother, I sincerely appreciated the personal interest he took in ensuring my son was successful in his class. He went above and beyond the call of duty as a teacher. Through his actions, he taught my son life lessons he will carry with him long past Algrbra II. "When life is difficult - work harder - don't give up". Mr Sganga let both Tanner and I know that he...

I love Sganga! You really captured his life and humor in his obituary! Sganga was an amazing man I so enjoyed working with him at HMS and I loved that he taught my daughter at HHS. He was supportive, and quite funny! He dressed so fine (actually gave his wife credit for that) and boy did he love those grandbabies! He will be missed! My thoughts and prayers are with all you of and with his HHS family.

Mr. Sganga was one of my favorite math teachers at Hickory! He will be missed. My prayers are with his family.

Mr. Sganga was my trig/math analysis teacher in 2005. He was not only an amazing teacher, but an amazing person. I am so sad to hear about his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends. He was a truly inspiring individual who will be missed greatly.

He was an amazingly inspiring individual. Celebrate a life well lived.

Mr. Sganga taught my son at Hickory High and he looked up to him and was extermely sad when he heard the news of his death. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. God bless you in your time of need.

Although I didnt know Mr. Sganga, he was my son's math teacher at Hickory High this year. Ryan was sad to hear of his passing and made the comment that he was a good teacher who explained things to them very well. I know all his students will miss him alot. May God Grace you all with peace, and know that he is in good hands. Teresa Arnold
