Not sure what to say?

As my Phoenixville HS football coach, Coach Shenk was a hard driver, but well respected mentor. He demanded, and received the best from his players. I went on to play football at Bucknell University and Coach Shenk came to campus as a dean where I got to know him better. I can't say enough about how his guidance and friendship positively affected my life. We had a great time together when he attended our 50th reunion. RIP Coach.

I met Bruce in 1947 at the Hershey Community Club.
Great FRIEND then and always had some fine memories. Played on the same teams (football and track). I can still see him running around the track with a time watch. GOD LOVE YOU. REST IN PEACE.
KULPY HERSHEY HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 53.

Mr Shenk was one of few who truly guided me through .those years of high school. It was a difficult time and I am forever grateful to him. RIP to a special and wonderful man that touched so many of us.

Mr. Shenk was the first person I met when I transferred to James Caldwell High School in my junior year. He was such a kind man and made me feel welcome. I think of him often as I am currently a Registrar at a High School and try to make students feel the way Mr. Shenk made me feel. My condolences to his family.

Mr. Shenk was my seventh grade teacher. I loved him. Wonderful man, excellent teacher.

Mr. Shenk was one of the inspirational people I ever had the privilege of knowing

Bruce was my guidance counselor at James Caldwell High School year of 1971. He was a sweet, wonderful man.

I had Mr. Shenk as my guidance counselor at JCHS in 1968. He was so excited when i got accepted to college as i was! He was a great counselor and always had time to speak with you if you needed to talk or discuss something with him. He was great.
