What an amazing man. My condolences to family and friends. He will be greatly missed, but he his legacy is huge. He saved my life and inspired my daughter. Changed both of our lives profoundly. He showed me what medical care can be. And when he worked on me, he explained what he was doing to my 11-yr-old daughter (who went on to become a physician), brought out text books, explained anatomy, and gave her boxes of bones to try to put together.
