Not sure what to say?

I lived with Bert and John in Columbus while attending OSU undergraduate school. I just learned of Bert´s death. A true loss for all of us. I would like the password to see photos. Please send to [email protected] With condolences and respect Ben Fisco

I remember Bert's Blue Vintage Mustang-It was a classic convertible! My Dad was Carl Bagge, who also worked at the Santa Fe in Chicago and came to D.C. to work on the Federal Power Commission. I remember Bert was in our backyard yucking it up on my Dad's "guru hill". My Dad had one yellow and grey fold out beach chair at the top of a rock garden and that was his "happy place". Bert was always such a fun person to talk to, I had such a crush on him but I was only six years old at the time,...

Kaye hope you´re doing well We miss Bert

I was very lucky to have Bert as my boss and mentor when I was with the End Hunger Network. Smart, kind, honest, good listener, direct and funny - key characteristics of a true leader. I learned so much from Bert that I carried throughout the rest of my career. Bert made a big difference in Houston, particularly in the area of feeding Houston’s hungry. Bert, you will be missed.

I worked for Mr. Tabor at Vinson and Elkins in 1987-1988. He was a pleasant boss. Because I was in law school and working as his part-time paralegal, it was great to have a boss who gave clear and simple directions. He helped with professional references for many years and I hope he knew how much I appreciated that help. My condolences to his family. Please know that this world lost a kind and patient man when he passed away.

Getting to know this kind and generous man was a pleasure. He lived his faith and respected all of mankind.

I had the privilege of working with Bert when he represented my former company on many pipeline-related matters in the 80's & 90's. Bert had the singular ability to frame complex legal concepts in very relatable terms to non-lawyers such as I, and suggest solutions intended to preserve the essence of both parties business objectives. A truly fine professional, he will be missed by all.

Bert,a great person and competitor
Supported many programs for the unfortunate in our community
Made many friends along the way, treating all with respect
We will miss him
