Not sure what to say?

I was privileged to have Mr. Teich as a business law professor at Old Dominion University as well as my personal attorney while he was still practicing law from his office in downtown Norfolk. His students were the beneficiaries of his intimate knowledge of the law.

Our daughter, Margaret Pittman Whitaker, was a friend of "Missy's". She always thought a lot of you and Mr. Teich. Bless you and your family at this sad time.

What a tremendous loss. A true, kind and gracious man has earned his wings; how blessed we were to know him. Thank you Mr. Teich for all you gave to your community and to your country.

Prof Teich was one of the more memorable I had at ODU. He had great anecdotes and real experiences that gave context to his Business Law lectures. He gave only true/false exams and was a master at writing them using double negatives. He forced you to really pay attention to the detail, which was so important to the subject he taught. I enjoyed my time in his class. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

We are very sorry for your loss.

Al always had a smile on his face and was there to help and mentor the activists who came after him. He set an example of evenhandedness and courtesy. Rest in Peace Al.
