Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences to the Torres family. My history with Al dates back the 1990s when we worked together in the operating rooms at the WBGH where he provided excellent anesthetic services involving some orthopedic surgery cases. Dr. Torres was always a fine and caring physician who provided the best for the patient as a pertinent part of a surgical team as an anesthesiologist . He truly cared for patients and the field of medicine as we knew it 30 years ago. Farewell to a...

Al was the best Anesthesiologist you could ever work with. He was truly a friend to all CRNA´s. A great loss for the community. RIP, dear friend. Jerry Flora. Lauderhill, FL.

Words cannot express the heartbreak in the loss of Dr. Torres. The anesthesia community has truly lost one of the best. You never knew what he would say next, but it was always funny. At General we used terms of endearment when we referred to him like "Pumpkin" and "Uncle Al" because we all loved him. I will truly miss my friend. May God comfort you...

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Torres at WBGH. This is a tremendous loss to the Anesthesia community. A very smart man and I learned so much from him. "Pumpkin" Thanks for all the good memories and funny one liners we would all laugh at during work. Prayers and strength to his family during this difficult time.
