Not sure what to say?

I worked with Al at the HHS-OIG. He was a delightful person with a great sense of humor. He was thoughtful and had integrity. I hadn't seen him since we both retired but I will always have fond memories of him.

You have our belated condolences as we just found out about Al passing today. Al worked for US Dept of HHS/OIG/Audit for a number of years as part of his federal service. Al was a close friend to many of our staff and was always entertaining. We will miss Al dearly.

Al was a coworker at HHS/OIG. I will always remember his fun loving personality and definitely the way he walked or should I say "tipped-bounced" around. Sharon Melvin (Little Rock, AR)

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

IT SADDENED ME TO HEAR OF AL'S DEATH. HE WAS A ROOMATE OF MY HUSBAND, EDDY THOMPSON IN '62. ED PASSED AWAY 7/4/10
AND WE ALWAYS WONDERED ABOUT THE NICEST
GUY WE'D KNOWN IN THOSE DAYS. HE ATTENDED OUR WEDDING 2/15/64 AND WE OFTEN WONDERED HOW HIS LIFE WENT, AND I
SEE IT WAS A GREAT LIFE WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS. MY CONDOLENCES TO ALL OF YOU.

MARGARET DELARUE THOMPSON

We will sadly miss our friend, Al. Al had a love of life spirit. We spent many times enjoying soccer events with Al. We will always remember with joy those "soccer days" with Al. His spirit and strength will always be with us. We send our condolences to Deanna, Todd and all the family.
Sincerely,
Jimmy and Ellen Simon

I was sorry to hear of Al's death. I played football and roomed next to him in the USL athletic dorm in the 60's. My wife , Sue, and I were reminiscing about what a great guy and tough player he was. After a grueling practice, he would go kick the soccer ball around while the rest of us were exhausted. Fond memories.
