Not sure what to say?

My uncle Albert was an awesome man.I remember as a kid my daddy taking me to watch my uncle race flat track. My uncle Al always took time to talk to me. Please tell aunt Julie I said hi.I love you all. GOD Bless YOU all in HEAVEN.

My uncle Albert was an awesome gentlemen. My Dad took me many times to see my uncle race. My uncle Albert was a very soft spoken man. He always took the time to chat with me and I miss that very much. We miss you Uncle Albert.

My uncle Albert was the sweetest gentlemen in the world. He always had time to talk especially if you were talking about bike racing. We all miss you so very much. You are always in my thoughts and prayers.

You are still very much missed by all of us. You were always very sweet and kind to every one. I know you are with your precious wife aunt Julie.

I really didn't know Al but my dad Albert was a Smires so we share that. He looks like a kind man and I wish I knew him better.

Mr. Wilcox returned to Slackwood School in 2005 during Slackwood's centennial celebration. He shared memories of his days at Slackwood and attended the Centennial Country Fair. His charm, wit and good spirits were much admired. On behalf of Slackwood School we send our sincere condolences.

I had the pleasure of playing for Al's Gals softball team in the late 70's. Al was a wonderful person and I enjoyed playing softball for his team. Later, after I went to another team, he was always interested in how I was and what I was doing. He will be missed.

Al touched the hearts of so many racers. He will truly be missed!
