Mr. Albert Eugene Wisner, 76, of Union Bridge, died Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Carroll Hospice Dove House, Westminster, after an extended illness.  Born June 17, 1932 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late John Bennett Wisner and Mary Fogle Wisner.  He was the husband of Sherea Young Wisner who preceded him in death in 2000.  Mr. Wisner was a 1950 graduate of Frederick High School.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War as an MP.  He was employed as an accountant with M&S Truck Repair in Keymar, retiring in 1994.  He was a member of the Woodsboro Evangelical Lutheran Church, Glenn W. Eyler American Legion Post of Woodsboro and the Loyal Order of Moose #371 of Frederick.  He was the statistician with Walkersville Bowling Lanes for many years.  In his earlier years he enjoyed dancing and then bowling duck pins, all types of sports and spending time with his family.  Surviving are daughter, Valerie Shea of Libertytown; 3 sons, Brian C. Wisner and wife Chris and Jon D. Wisner, all of Thurmont; Timothy D. Wisner and wife Jodie of Union Bridge; 9 grandchildren, Melissa Fraley, Michael Wisner, Billy Shea, Elizabeth Wilhelm; Ashley, Caroline, Monika, Morgan and Tracey Wisner; 4 great grandchildren, Bret, Kathan, Jared and Riley; and 2 brothers-in-law, Wilbur Reever and Sam Lookingbill.  He was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 2 brothers.  A funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, at Hartzler Funeral Home, 404 S. Main St., Woodsboro, with Rev. Dorothy Lundgren, his pastor, officiating.  Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, February 16.
