Not sure what to say?

My parents, Rut and Tiny, were best friends of "Tookie" and "Zig", and I grew up thinking of them as second parents. I have wonderful memories of petting sheep and chasing turkeys. Snakey shared in the celebration of my marriage and the joy of the births of my children. Later he blessed our log cabin in Sullivan County by surprising us with a wood carved sign, one of many to come! Recently he and Flo came to Reading to celebrate my 50th birthday. He helped me to become the person I am today....

Uncle Zig was a kind, gentle, and wonderful human being. I have many fond memories of visiting Aunt Tookie and him at their farm in Red Lion, and later on, at the Masonic Home in Elizabethtown. May his sons, Tom and Dave, know that their father was--and is--held in the highest regard by my family and me.

I was a neighbor and babysitter for "Zig" and Grace in Red Lion. What a wonderful and kind man he was to all who knew him. He was always there when help was needed. May he find a happy and wonderful place in Heaven as that is surely where he is right now. My heart and thoughts are with you in his passing.
