Not sure what to say?

Betty I'm very sorry for your loss. Albert was a great man and he will always be in my heart. I will never look at a walkman the same! Even after he is gone he still brings a smile to my face with his jokes!

Dear Family;

It is a loss indeed for the ones who loved him from always to the ones like us who met him later in life.
We became family by being friends of Luanne without knowing how many blessings we would get to share through the years. It is hard indeed to be far away. All of the times we rushed to the hospital to say good bye to Albert and this time we weren’t there. He is still in our heart; I will miss his jokes, my kids his “noogies.”
He and Betty had hearts large enough...

Betty and family - I'm so sorry to hear about Al. I always liked joking around with him. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Betty Ellis

As a little kid I always loved going to Bakersfield to visit Grandma Betty and Grandpa Albert. Grandpa was such an important person in my life and the memories I have of him are nothing but the best. One of my earliest memories is grandpa making candles and cooking tons of food in his red apron. When I would kiss his cheek he would always pull me closer and rub his rough "whiskies" on mine to make me laugh. I will miss talking to him about old music and all the records he shared with me. I...

My deepest sympathies to the family of Albert. I can recall meeting him many years ago and what a joy. He made a lasting and wonderful impression on me. His sense of humor and zest for life will forever live on in his beautiful daughter Laura Patt. I will miss Albert and in retrospect wish I had visited him and his darling wife more often. However, being able to experiencing a phenomenal relationship with his daughter Laura ensures that Albert will live on in my thoughts. May the family...

Dear Friends:

I was sorry to learn of Albert's passing away. He sure had a zest for living!

The last time I saw Albert and I asked him how he was doing, he replied, "better than you." He had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh.

I remember when Bakersfield finally got FM radio in the late 70's. It was not too much longer after that when Albert was showing me a new machine called a "compact disk player." Boy were those sounds smooth!

Albert was the...

Dear Betty,
My thoughts are with you and your entire family.
Karen has been my best friend for a long long time now! Her stories of Albert will stay with me forever. I am so glad I had the pleasure of being in his company several times....
As for you Albert....you are amazing! We should all be so lucky to be so strong ( and thanks for teaching Karen how to cook!!!!!)

Dear Betty and family, I was so sad to hear of Al passing away. I worked with Al as his secretary in the early years at CSUB. I have so many memories of working with him. I believe Al was the happiest cooking mexican food for all his friends and family. I still have 2 of his recipes, chile verde and veal marsala, that he gave me in his own handwriting that I have in my cooking files.
God bless you and may Al rest in peace.

God Bless the Zuniga Family, Steve, Luanne, Laura, Kirk, Karen and Pat. It's been many years that I have seen any of the family with the exception of Steve. I was sadden to find out about Mr. Zuniga. My heart felt condolences to you all.
