Alberta Anderson Cooper

I met Alberta aka Bertie Bird back during the FBI Judge Vance Bombing investigations in Dothan, Alabama and we quickly became friends and partners within the FBI. She accepted strangers and helped all that she met. She spoke favorably all the time about her family and loved her grand children. Thus, when I finally met the "Family" I knew something special about each one of them. Bertie Bird would light up like a candle when she talked and her smile would cheer the world and her laugh...

The first time my wife and I met Alberta was when a friend, Marcia, who had made arrangements to stay with us in England, asked if we minded if she brought an old FBI acquaintance with her. What a lucky day that was for us, because we gained a lifelong friend who we came to love dearly.
We took her everywhere in Brighton; the Brighton Pavilion, to see a play at the Theatre Royal, had fish and chips in the restaurant at the end of the Palace Pier, etc. We showed her much of the Sussex...
