GEBHARDT, Alberta M. – Of Flint, age 88, died Thursday, June 15, 2017.



 



Funeral service will be held at 11a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 310 North Cherry Street, Flushing, Father Gordon Reigle officiating.



 



Entombment in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.



 



Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.



 



Visitation 3-8 p.m. Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.



A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.



 



Mrs. Gebhardt will be at the church 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the Mass.



 



Alberta was born in Flint, Michigan on August 16, 1928, the daughter of the late George and Stella (Davidowiez) Kolton and was a resident of the Flint and Flushing areas all of her life.



 



She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.



 



Surviving are daughters, Jill and husband John Hammerberg,



Pamela and husband Jose Rodriguez,



Drew and husband Bruce Edwards;



 



7 grandchildren, Ryan (Lisa), Erin, Andrea, Dana (Frank) Entrekin, Abbey, Scott and Dominic;



 



7 great-grandchildren and sister, Imelda Kolton.



 



She was preceded in death by her husband, George; two sisters, Rita Hresko and Bonita Hintz.

Jill, Pam and Drew. I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. I have many wonderful memories of her and all the time I spent at your house when we were growing up. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sorry to see Alberta has passed. she and George are together once again in Heaven! They are two of the nicest, kindest people i ever met, happy i knew them for about 20 years! RIP !

Jill, Pam, Drew & families, so sorry to hear of your Moms passing. She was always so nice to me. I am so glad I got to see her at The Landings a few times while she was there. Just cherish the many good memories you have. She will always be in your hearts.

The Talsma family loved her dearly. We often talked about her and the wonderful memories we all shared. God bless you all, we know your heart is very sad...but happy too...for she knew God's true promise...xo!

Jill, Pam & Drew - I have such lovely, happy memories of your dear mom, and remember her amazing home-made pasta and other dishes! She 'mothered' me with the other neighborhood kids, and lavished love and laughter on us. I'm so very sorry for the loss of this precious woman.
