Read MoreI had Mrs. Kickbush as a fifth-grade teacher. She believed in nurturing creativity and responsibility in her students. She was a wonderful educator. Those lessons from her then helped shape my own teaching career years later. I'm sorry I never thought to tell her. Please except my condolences.

Doug, I'm sorry for the loss of your mom - an incredibly strong woman who had the good fortune to have a loving family to be proud of. Her obituary speaks volumes of the woman whose influence on those close to her can be felt all the way from London.
