RANDALL, Alberta - Of Flint, age 81, passed away from cancer on Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. Funeral service will be held at 1PM Thursday, August 21, 2008 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Tedd Culver officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice in Goodrich or American Diabetes Association. Visitation 5-8PM Tuesday, 11AM-3PM and 5-8PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Alberta was born on February 5, 1927 in Montrose, Michigan, the daughter of Edward and Lena Diamond. She married Lloyd Wolverton on July 20, 1946 (who preceded her in death) and had 6 children. Later she married Arnold Randall on October 4, 1975. She enjoyed traveling and being a full time housewife, mother and grandma. Surviving are husband, Arnold Randall of Flint; children, Elaine Wolverton of Flint, Freeda (Vern) Foster of Defiance, Ohio, Lorena (Dennis) Smith of Montrose, Sheilah Wendt of Mt. Morris, Lloyd (Peggy) Wolverton of Flint, Gary (Peggy) Randall of Muskegon, Les (Betty) Randall of Flint, Kevin (Karen) Randall of Flint, Tim (Dawn) Randall of Flint, Kathy (Ralph) Aguilera of Flint, Barbara Daunt of Durand, Kim (Paul) Torowitz of Clio, Louie Randall of Flint, Shelly Randall of Flint and Nellie (Jim) Toby of Flint; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by parents; 5 brothers; 4 sisters; daughter, Madline Randall and son, Richard Randall. Aunt Alberta will always be remembered in my heart and thought of through the rest of my life here on earth.
Hope she and my dad (Ed) are catching up on what's been going on here on earth.
I know she will be greatly missed, by many, but she has left some great memories with alot of us.
