My grandmother was the strongest person I ever met. She took life challenges head-on. Although she only went to the eighth grade, she read the newspaper every day. She voted in every election. She made all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren feel like they were her favorite. She was giving and as she would say "free-hearted". Grandma you were the best grandmother anybody could ever have. I was lucky to have you as my friend for fifty years. I will miss all the Mardi Gras', all the tea, all of hugs and kisses. So much of me is you so I know you are not far away. Rest easy grandma. You did great by all of us.
