Two days ago my granddaughter asked if she could visit Mrs. Rocha. I said, "Maybre, Mrs. Rocha is in heaven."
She asked, "Is she ever coming back?"
I told her, "Not on this earth, but someday we will see her again when we get to heaven."
She replied, "Will she give me a hug and a candy?"
I smiled and said, "I am sure she will." Your mother is being remembered. She was a kind, hardworking, loving woman. I was blessed to be her neighbor.

Jimmy, Johnny and Mary, I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom, my Tia Albertina, was a blessing in my life, especially whilst growing up on the family ranch. I will always remember staying with her during my moms surgery and her treating my siblings and me like her own children. I loved when she would talk to me in 1/2 Portuguese and 1/2 English. My heart is heavy with the passing of my beloved aunt Albertina; yet consoled by the fact that I was privileged enough to be her nephew and the benefactor of her loving and caring disposition for so many years.
