Not sure what to say?

Al was a very good friend to my mother Barbara Thompson. He was a very special man. Glad I was able to get to know him when I was in Great Falls.

I am thankful I got to know Mr. Johnson through Eastern Star and the Masonic Temple Board. What a wonderful and giving man. He was always there and he will be missed. I will miss seeing him sitting in the East at meetings. God bless you Al Johnson.

Al's Family: What a rich, full and productive life Al lived. So many years and then to die of injuries from a crash! God's ways are not our ways. We also wish to thank Al for his service to our country. May each of you draw closer to the Lord now and know His presence in the days to come. We're praying for you.

Al was one of my favorite Eastern Stars and my life is the better for having known him. He had a wonderful sense of humor, sly at times. I recall him telling a story at one Star meeting that included the punchline, "Nothing runs like a Deere or smells like a John." I still laugh whenever I think of it. He was a kind and gentle man and I will miss him.

Al and Evelyn were my Mom Margaret Peterson's pals until she moved to live with my family in Colorado. They were her Guardian Angels and we all loved them. I saw Al in June when he was in rehab and his warm smile filled the place. The Masonic Family will miss his devotion as will all of his friends. We were blessed to have known him.
