Albon and Mary at Playmill, Summer 2013

How our family loved Albon and Mary and their ten children as we were growing up. Some of our fondest memories are from cabin times shared in Island Park, church in West Yellowstone, and evenings at the Playmill. Just a few weeks ago there was a recent picture posted of Albon and Mary snuggling at the Playmill, and even though it was taken from behind, I knew immediately who it was, and it was so obvious, that even after 65 years of marriage, they were still deeply in love! Our parents...

Always thought fondly of the Smith family. Albon was the horsemanship merit badge counselor, and we had a good ride as I earned that badge. Always kind. What a beautiful family legacy.

I enjoyed seeing aldon and mary every sunday at church and seen how happy they were. he will be missed. may the lord bless and strengthen mary and the smith family at this time.

Dear Smith Family,
I enjoyed Albon's Friendship very much.
We worked together with the Iona scouts.
Riding over the Iona hill together with our horeses. Taking the scouts to his cabin.
Love Bill & Marlene Burtenshaw

I enjoyed working with Albon in the Scouts at Iona. Enjoyed riding our horses up over the Iona hill. Many good memories with Albon.

To the Smith Family, my family moved to Albon's beloved Idaho Falls just three years ago. But it has been my good fortune to have known and appreciated the goodness of Albon and Mary and some of their family during those years. Thanks for such a tender and wonderfully written obituary. Your father and grandfather will be greatly missed.

Mary, I don't know if you will remember me but you were the one that taught me how to clean a house and tend children - You had 3 at the time . I have thought of you many times and the love you have shown to me in my younger teenage years. So sorry for you loss and you will always be among my favorite people in my life. Bless you & I wished I could be there to hug you. Much love to you and your family.

Dear Smith Family,
We were saddened to learn of the passing of Brother Smith. Please accept our sympathy and condolences.
