Montford Point Marine and Retired Marine Corps Colonel Bill Dwiggins at TCU Veterans Day Celebration.

Alcee Chriss supported many of our Veterans events at TCU. He shared knowledge with students, veterans and faculty and staff. I am honored to know him and as an African American Marine, I know he led the way for my opportunity to serve.

Celebrating a life well lived as Mr. Chriss touched many lives by giving his life to service through his church and community. Well done.

My sincere condolences to the Chriss Family. Mr. Chriss will be missed and his memory cherished.

My condolences to the Chriss family on the death of Mr. Chriss. He was a wonderful man and full of life. My mother, Marian Jones, got to know him at the Handley-Meadowbrook Senior Center and he was always very kind and helpful to her.

May God comfort you in this time of sorrow.

Offering our deepest sympathies at this time.
