Well my fondest memory of my Aunt Alda is in 1972. She sent for my whole family to come and visit. I am one of Verna's 7 children and am named after my Aunt Alda. It was my first time on an airplane. I remember a big picnic at their house and remember playing in her backyard, it was grand, like a huge forest. Maybe it seems so big cause I was so little. I remember chasing and catching fire flys.. I'd never seen them before. That is one memory I will always have in my heart. I love you...

Claudia,
I will always remember when your parents had the store and how Aunt Alda would always give me cookies and treats after school when I would go and visit. I will always remember how Aunt Alda was always dressed up in skirts and high heels working in the store and the kitchen. She use to love to dress up and I think I got a taste of fashion sense from Aunt Alda. She is probably going to wear high heels in Heaven.
Always cherish your memories of her!
God Bless you.
Love...
