Al Marshall's Eulogy

April 24, 1957-February 28, 2009

These 2 dates mark the beginning and the end of Al’s life. The “-“ is meant to signify all that occurred in between those 2 dates. I’d like to tell you some of the parts of Al that occurred in between.

There was Al the sportsman:

Golf- playing tournaments or scrambles with Ellie or Eddie at St. Anne’s, East Mountain or Agawam Golf Course.
Softball-playing on Chuck’s team and...

We'll always be together, however far it seems. We'll always be together, forever in 'Electric Dreams'.

PJ I am so sorry for your loss. I am at a loss for words. I know how much good care you both took of each other and the love that you both shared for each other. I will miss him. Love you peachy...be well.

Al was a helpful & friendly neighbor. We often walked our dogs (babies) together. I will miss our chat sessions. PJ, you know I am only a door knock away if you need me. Be sure to take care of yourself as Al always did.

I Miss Al and I don't know how I will ever explain to my kids how much he cared for them. He charished Alex and he took Lily for more walks in her carriage no matter how hot it was or no matter how bad his knees were. He loved my kids and I will never let them forget him. Lily will miss her "Nanny", "Daddy"... and she has no idea he is gone...................she thinks J.J. is hiding him.
