When I first heard Alec died my jaw dropped in total shock. He had always been one of the sweetest all-around great guys I've ever met, and I will truly miss him. My love goes out to his family and his girlfriend.

Alec, you were one of the kindest people that I had the honor of meeting during our first year at JMU. Your smile will be greatly missed on campus, but your warmth and loving compassion will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved you. Alec was truely a very special person that touched so many people in an undescribable way. I never once saw anything but a huge smile on his face. He will be missed. Beautiful memories will be the strength to get through such a difficult time.
I am blessed to have had a photography class with Alec my senior year. I will never forget all the great times we had in and out of school. He always knew what to say to brighten my day.
