Read MoreWhile I never met Alec, Mary Angela has told me wonderful stories about him for years. It was heartbreaking when he was diagnosed with and subsequently died of pancreatic cancer. Although he suffered a great deal, he never complained.
Take comfort in knowing that Alec has gone to a better place where you will see him again some day. Until then, may God grant you His grace and peace to deal with Alec's loss.
