Aleda Campbell Wright

Aleda was a great friend while I was La Chatelainie in Gstaad, Switzerland. We lived in Windspielen Chalet and would walk up to the main house together. Aleda had a great sense of humor... she actually invented the illness "cuisinitis"... the symptoms were not wanting to attend a certain class that day...she was a lovely friend and I will miss her bright personality. To Aleda's family....I worked with Aleda over many years at Riverside Gallery in Warrensburg on a variety of picture framing projects, the most recent being a shadowbox featuring the kilt, photos and accoutrements from her childhood. She was a truly lovely woman with a gentle way and a warm smile always. I will remember her fondly and will miss seeing her at the gallery. Another old-line Schenectady family member is gone. From days of schooling at Saint Agnes School, ALBANY/Loudonville, to great sailing at the Lake George Club, we'll not soon see another leading family like this.
