Alejandro Guerrero Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 28, 2012.
Guerrero Alex,

Alex Guerrero, 77 passed away on July 26, 2012. He was the son of the late Juan and Francisca Guerrero. Bon in Chandler, Arizona but made Tempe his home since 1973.
In the early years Alex and family lived in Safford, Arizona where he was manager of Karls Shoe Store where he realized sales was his passion. Moving back to Mesa he became a real estate agent and manager for Woody's Realty. He became a broker and started the firm, Casa de Guerrero with his wife Helen, which was established in 1966 in Phoenix. He loved the South Phoenix area and its views and realized the potential for growth. He opened a music store for awhile called, Casa de Musica, as well. Real estate was his passion in which he was successful throughout his career. Never wanting to retire he still was at his office with his sons until the very end. Our father was a devoted husband who loved traveling with his wife of 57 years, Helen. He also loved the outdoors were he could enjoy camping and hunting with the family members. Another passion that he enjoyed was the time he could spend at the casinos. Along with these joys of his life, he also enjoyed his time with children and grandchildren. His children are: Cecilia (husband Troy), Alex Jr. (wife Sylvia), Christine (husband Bret), Jeff,
Robert and Larry who preceded him in death. Twelve grandchildren are: Angelica, Amber, Sonia, Alex, Dominic, Sophia, Jr., Ashley, Stephanie, Gabriel, Mia and Mason. Five great grandchildren are: Sebastian, Kaylen, Benny, Michael and Sean. Alex is survived by three brothers, Pepe, Juan, Ceasar and Sister Gloria.

Dear Guerrero Family loved ones,
We extend our sympathy to your family on the passing of Alex. We knew Alex when he lived in Safford and our compadre. Thru the years we lost contact but never forgotten. Apparently by the evidence of your joyful pictures he never lost the enthusiasm of living and what a wonderful way for you to remember him.
Our prayers are with you, God bless you all.

Tata, Thank you for your family... I'm so happy that we got to spend our last time together laughing and happy while you gushed about how proud you were of your kids. Without you I wouldn't have my son and I will always be grateful.... To the family, you have handled dealing with your parents with such dignity and you have made them proud. Love Always, Tarasa

Compadre Alex,

We send you our heartfelt sympathy for you, Sheva, Sonia, Decos, Benny Ray, & baby Michael, in the home going of your dad.

Alex Sr. will always be remembered with laughs and smiles.

I will always remember his smiles, his hugs and so glad I have my memories of our trips to Laughlin with your parents and the fun we had with them at their house for cookouts and swimming. Although it's difficult today to see beyond your sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow. I pray that today's pain of his home going, also remind you he lived, and in his life here with you, he left you life times of memories to beautiful to ever forget.

Hugs & Prayers,
Monica & John Kinney
Erlinda, George, & Angelica
