Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy to Aleta's family. She was always gracious, loving and an example of courage and cheerfulnees in the face of difficuties. I know that she will be missed.

I join the rest of the AOL Genealogy Forum hosts/community leaders in saying that Aleta was a wonderful genealogist and a caring and considerate friend.

She was a joy to know. Good genes!

Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I'm going to miss Aleta, but am blessed to have known her for so many years. As a member of the Genealogy Forum on AOL, we spent many times in chat, sharing E-mail and private messages.

What I remember most about Aleta, beyond her passion for family and family history, was an abiding faith… and a great sense of humor. What a hoot!

My sincere condolences to her family.

I first "met" Aleta on AOL's genealogy forum many years ago, and enjoyed working with her. She was a ray of sunshine and we all loved it when chatters would ask her if her parents were Prince Valiant fans when she was born .
She and I shared many ancestral lines, and she was a huge source of information for many.
She will be missed~

Aleta was a founding member of the International Blacksheep Society, and we valued her participation highly, even in the months where she was too ill to participate she was missed dearly, we were happy in the last few months to hear from her again and thought that her illnesses had abated.

Please know that she had many friends in our society and will be remembered fondly.

I first met Aleta, through email in 1996, when I was doing research for her about her...

Aleta has been an example of someone who accepts everyone, a Christ-like chararteristic that we all can develop. She will be remembered fondly. Our condolences to her family. Love,
