Not sure what to say?

grade 12 graduation

Our dear son Kevan passed away April 27, 2016, at the age of 20. It wasn't too long before I realized he is interred very close to Don and Eunice. This brings me a lot of comfort. I know you'll take good care of my boy. xo

My deepest sympathy to Donovan's family,
I have fond memories of Donovan, a wonderful gentleman. He was kind and helpful, making my time on General Faculties Council a most rewarding and challenging one.
Anita Li, Emeritus Professor of Educational Psychology.

Donovan Williams stands out in my memory as the best Secretary that the General Faculties Council at the University of Calgary ever had. His minutes were a pleasure to read - accurate, quietly humorous, erudite. He treated all members with respect and honoured their contributions It was a pleasure to work with him. My heartfelt condolences to the family.

To the Family of Donovan

It was my pleasure to know Donovan over the years that we worked together at the University of Calgary, mostly though our interactions around the General Faculties Council. He was not only highly competent but committed to academic life, blessed with a wonderful dry sense of humour and always fun to be around. I was saddened to learn of his passing and send my thoughts and best wishes to his family.

My deepest sympathy to the family of this wonderful man. He will be greatly missed. Dr. Barbara Lansing

Dr. Williams was my professor in my undergraduate years and became my supportive and enthusiastic supervisor for my master's program. He always challenged me to give my very best in my academic endeavours but believed in me even when I had doubts about my abilities. When I approached him after many years to recommend me for a doctoral program, his response was "I always thought you should continue on". I was blessed to know him as a mentor, a professor, and friend. He will be missed.

Dear Donelle and Gareth: Donovan's passing is certainly a great loss to members of his family. It will be so for his many friends, academic and social. As a longtime friend, I will treasure his welcoming smile, our wonderful conversations and his genuine sincerity. That he and his family accepted me as a near virtual member makes his loss that much sadder. Please accept my deep and heartfelt condolences. Gil Turcotte.

Pieter and Pam Williams, his brother and sister-in-law, remember Don with affection and respect. Our loving sympathy goes out to Donelle, Gareth and Bethany.

I will remember you Uncle Don with great fondness. RIP. Thoughts and Prayers with you Donelle, Gareth and Bethany...lots of love, Lorraine
