Life is to short and when the Call to Glory comes it is painful for those left to mourn.
I guess it is the selfishness of the living and their loss.
That is only human, but I believe in clebrating that life and its greatness that it gave to us all and all the wonderful and memorable moments.
I have lost loved ones and what I always keep in mind is, "The Silent Presence of Friends.

So sorry to hear about your mom. She was always someone I looked up to. We used to sit by each other at choir practice and every Sunday during church as I was growing up. We had another thing in common...our birthdays were on the same day. She was so faithful about sending me a card each year. She was a sweet and gentle lady and always ready with her beautiful smile. We were so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing, but did know that she had not been well. Her smile has been missed already. Frank used to love to tease her, but except for one time, he always got a smile in the end! Please know that we are thinking of all of you and that you have our sympathy
