Not sure what to say?

dear Jessica:
unfortunately life sometimes gives us circumstances that we cannot control i would love to thank you for these reasons: 1. for given me this beautiful site that let me see my beautiful brother for the last time with his unforgettable smile and good humor and for making me remember the day he told me you would always be my little sister i thank god for sending him an angel like you to love and watch over him god knows that i have always kept my two brothers in my heart I...

I was one of Alex's nurses up on 7c. I'm sorry that I did not know when Alex passed. Alex will always be remembered by me as a man with great spirit, pride and loyalty. Alex was a straight shooter and I liked that about him alot. I know we talked several nights just about life and memories of the past. He will truly be missed. We all loved him on 7C.

I am Alex' oldest son. I was supposed to see him one last time on the morning he passed away, but his breath gave out before I could get there. I've had trouble forgiving myself since that day, but I will never regret the memories I had with my dad, like the way he always took me to his police station, and no matter where I was, if I called him because I needed someone to talk to, or I just wanted to have a beer and talk about life, he always made it a point to see me and listen. I miss you...

I worked with Alex in the Diamond District on 47th Street. We would go to different diamond dealers and pick up the gems that were being shipped. I looked foward to the day ahead when I was with him. I remember going up in the elevators of these buildings, me and Alex would be talking away. Thinking back now, it amazes me that we had so much to talk about. I trusted him because he was a fellow NYPD officer with strong family values. I knew if something happened he would protect me and I would...

Alex was full of life and his passing is a loss that can never be expressed in words. I cannot think of anyone that had more humor about life and love. He truly will be missed. We will share that Opus X cigar one day my friend.

I never have the pleasure of meeting Alex but heard so many wonderful things about him and that he treated my best friend, Jessica, so well! He will be greatly missed!

The news of Alex's passing was unexpected and unsettling. I knew Alex as a colleague and fellow sergeant in the 84. A gracious man with quick smile, he presided over the late tour as a distinct gentleman. He will be missed.

a few jokes, maybe a wink
a sparkling smile, and just one more drink

Alex, my wish is that you share these things with our loved ones in heaven just as you did with us all of these years. Rest in peace and take your place among the angels.

love and respect,
Irma

O Alex, my brother
O Alex, my son, my uncle
So handsome. So happy. So strong.
Cradled by the crescent moon, you lie above
Smiling, laughing, watching over us
Each time the old moon gives way to the new, we will salute you
You remain forever in our hearts, our guardian in the sky.
So handsome. So happy. So strong.

O Alex, mi hermano
O Alex, mi hijo, mi tío
Tan hermoso. Tan alegre. Tan fuerte.
Encunado por la luna creciente, te recuesta mas...
