Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services - Sioux Falls Obituary

Alex Costa, 26, was born in Sioux Falls, SD on February 25, 1995.  He was taken to heaven unexpectedly on February, 26 2021.

Alex grew up in Sioux Falls.  At an early age Alex gave us many “shake our head” moments.

When he was 3 years old he could detect any mud puddle near our home.  Then as he got older he loved to show his skateboarding skills leaving us with fears of an emergency room visit.  Regardless of our fears Alex was fearless.  He also loved playing disc golf with his friends, was an avid gamer and loved camping with his family.  He enjoyed back to his roots Bangali cooking and sushi.

Alex was exceptional at making people laugh and feel loved with his warm, witty and caring personality.  His awesome smile said it all.

So many people were blessed to share his life.  He is survived by his mother, Amy Costa; father, Cornelius Costa, step mother Wendy Costa; sister Sarah Costa, nephew Tripp St. Claire; aunts Dannielle Pearce and Tracy Clyde; uncle Jason Eie, Grandpa Bill Havalaar, his loving girlfriend Alicia Vera and many cousins.

Funeral services will be held at Heritage Funeral Home for Alex on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. with family present one hour prior for visitation.
