I remember Alex,he was a friend, we use to camp out to gather when we where kid at the hood brothers tree house,he was one of the gang ,I was sad here of his passing,I'm sorry for his family loss

He was a brother i never got to know.What i knew of him and this family, is the reason I fell in love with Shela. We only had the chance to talk a few times,but what he said had heart. Mom , Shela,and,Lisa I know this is never easy.He may be gone but he will never be forgotten. I love you brother.

My dear friend Lisa. I was so shocked to receive your e-mail regarding Alex's passing. I am so sorry that you, Tyler and the family have to endure this sad time. Please forgive me for not writing sooner, but I had a friend in TN who also passed away the very same day and he too was 48. I babysat him when he was a baby and also taught him in Sunday School when I lived in VA (I was 19).

My thoughts and prayers continue for Alex's family. I've taken my time signing this for personal reasons. We don't always understand why things happen the way they do in this world, but I'm confident that our Father in Heaven is mindful of us and aware of our trials. Alex was a close friend and I still have fond memories of our years at Banks, Frink, and North Lenoir. Being a part of the "Crestview" gang, I'm thankful for all the memories.

I have memories in my pocket.
