Not sure what to say?

Dear Alan, Eileen, & Chris,

I was so saddened to learn from Alan of Alex’s diagnosis, and had such hope that you would never know the sorrow of having your child pass from this life. I’ve only just learned such wasn’t to be. When MIK died, I searched from those who’d experienced my sorrow for words that would ease my own; from that void I know that my own words will be powerless to ease your sorrow. What I do offer is the promise that love never dies, and the image of Alex’s spirit...

Eileen & Alan,
Eric just told me about the passing of Alex....we had no idea. We're so sorry for your loss.

Elaine & Eric Carlson

Dear Eileen and Alan,
We have watched your journey with Alex's cancer from afar as Tom has come to terms with his limitations. We hope to have the same grace and strength while Tom's journey continues as your family has shown. I remember how thrilled we were when Alex was featured in a national magazine and I hoped that my fellow journalists could give him the edge to find a cure for Ewings. We will remember Alex's courage, his light and his inspiration as we follow our path in...

Dear Alan and Eileen:

Sorry to hear of Alex's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Stan and Carol Edlavitch

Alan and Eileen--
I will always remember Alex among the Maasi--a golden child, filled with life and joy. You loved him well.

Judith

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I just read about your wonderful son Alex and I am truly sorry.I have a 13 year old granddaughter Holly who also was diagnoised with Ewings in August of 07.She is doing so great, we hope and pray she stays free of this terrible monster, she has been in remission a year and 3 months. We were also saddened by the death of Hollys little sister Faith in April 09 from a different cancer Neuroblastoma. The girls were diagnoised 5 months apart and are half sisters..The doctors were floored that this...

Eileen, you are a brave and strong mother. I admire the care and love you shared and passed on to your children. As parents, you made it possible to make all the wonderful memories you'll keep with you and in those momeries Alex lives on. Everything happens for a reason and may God's Will be done. Turn to friends and family when you feel like it, it may not be today or tomorrow - they miss and love Alex too. Through the holidays I wish this was a happy time for all our friends and family. In...

Dear Eileen, Alan, & Chris,
My heart goes out to you all with Alex's passing. I will always remember that great smile and sweet heart of his towards everyone. Having him as a student for 3 years at Oak Hill was a lot of fun. May God comfort you during this time. I wish I could be there to celebrate his life, but you know I will be with you in spirit. Rich Connell "Mr. C."
