Alex Kovach, 78, a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II with the rank of Sergeant, and a Fireman EMT with the Franklin Township Fire Department, passed away in Barnesboro, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday, May 16, 2000. Friends may call on Friday, May 19, 2000, 4-8 p.m., with Masonic services at 7 p.m., at Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Road, Akron, Ohio. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 20, 10:30 a.m., at Lakeview Church of Christ, 4613 South Main Street, officiated by Pastor Darryl Moulder. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions are appreciated to Visiting Nurse of Hospice, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron, OH 44333.
It has been a week ago today my Dad was called back to be with the Lord. I miss him, but I know we will all be together again.
